DR Congo and Uzbekistan are seeking their first victories at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and both are still in with a chance of reaching the knockout stages. After holding Portugal to a thrilling 1-1 draw, DR Congo suffered a setback with defeat by Colombia. Debutants Uzbekistan, meanwhile, lost both of their openers.

The winner of Group K will advance to the round of 32 and play the third place team from Group D, E, I, J or L on 3 July at Kansas City Stadium, while the Group K runner-up face the Group L runner-up at Toronto Stadium on 2 July and the third place team from Group K would meet the winner of Group L on 1 July at Atlanta Stadium.
