The match
Bosnia-HerzegovinaBosnia and Herzegovina will take on Qatar in Seattle as Group B comes to a close. The nations, who have never played each other before at the FIFA World Cup™, are aiming to progress to the knockout phase at the global finals for the first time.
Bosnia-Herzegovina shared the spoils with Canada in their opener, 1-1, but then succumbed to a late Switzerland surge in a 4-1 defeat. Meanwhile, Qatar struck late to draw the Swiss 1-1 to start the tournament, but were on the wrong side a 6-0 scoreline to Canada. To stay alive, each side must claim victory and then hope that results go their way in the group’s other fixture.
A runners-up spot for Bosnia-Herzegovina or Qatar would set up a clash with the second-placed team in Group A in Los Angeles. If the third-place team in Group B finish as one of the eight best, they will face the winner of Group D or E.
