The match

Africa meets Europe in this Group F finale, as Tunisia take on the Netherlands for just the fourth time. This will be the first competitive meeting between the pair.

The Dutch has come out flying in this World Cup, with seven goals in their first two matches: a 2-2 draw with Japan followed by a 5-1 romp over Sweden. Several different knockout round scenarios are in place for the Netherlands, but what is certain is that a victory means progression. As for Tunisia, a 5-1 defeat to Sweden and a 4-0 loss to Japan means they are eliminated, so they will look to end on a positive note.

The side which tops this section will go on to a Round of 32 clash versus the runner-up of Group C in Monterrey, while the nation which finishes as runners-up will take on the winner of that pool in Houston. If the third-placed side in the group qualify as one of the eight best, they have the potential to take on the winner of Group A, B, D, E or I in Mexico City, Vancouver, San Francisco Bay Area, Boston or New York New Jersey, respectively.

Kansas City Stadium

Kansas City Stadium is certified by Guinness World Records as the loudest outdoor sports venue in the world and has hosted a record five consecutive NFL Conference Championships. The arena, which is the home of the NFL Kansas City Chiefs, reached a record-breaking decibel level of 142.2 when the Chiefs took on the New England Patriots in 2014.

Known as the soccer capital of America, Kansas City is home to two-time MLS champions Sporting KC and 2022 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) finalists KC Current and is a bi-state metropolitan area that straddles the state line between Missouri and Kansas. The venue will play host to four World Cup group stage clashes, a Round of 32 tie and one quarter-final.
