What they said…

We can’t compare the preparation towards Panama to what we are preparing towards England. It’s going to be something that is more than what we did against Panama.

You come here hoping that you play against most of the biggest teams and the biggest players in the world. It’s not something that surprises us anymore. It’s something that we are supposed to stood up on our feet and make it to our country”. Gideon Mensah, Ghana defender

“Ghana play with a lot of physicality, they play with a lot of speed and individual quality. They don’t mind if they don’t have so much of the ball, because they burst into high-speed attacks on the counter. It’s a different approach than the last match, but that’s the beauty of it. In the World Cup, we play different cultures and different approaches to the match. It’s on us to adapt and to bring our strengths, be respectful enough to adapt to the strengths of our opponent, and make it a top performance from us, because that’s what we need.” Thomas Tuchel, England coach
