Scotland ended their 36-year wait for a World Cup win when they sunk Haiti last time out thanks to a deflected goal from John McGinn. Another victory here will secure the nation a first-ever knockout berth, but they’ll have to be on top form to topple a Morocco side who finished fourth at Qatar 2022 and recently took a point off Brazil.

What they said…
“We know they’re a fantastic team and they’ve got threats all over the park. They did so well in the last World Cup. We’ve got to focus on our performance. Our aim is to win the game, their aim is to win the game. Hopefully we’re the ones smiling come full-time.” Andy Robertson, Scotland captain
“It’s a big challenge for us. We expect that Morocco will probably have more of the ball than us, more possession. What we have to make sure is that when we have the ball, we can be a big threat to Morocco.” Steve Clarke, Scotland coach
“This is a crucial match for qualification; we’re going to execute the game plan and put in a performance that secures the win. We prepare for every match the same way; we’re aiming for the win, we’ve prepared thoroughly, and we’re all in good shape. We’ll try to show our appreciation for the Moroccans fans out on the pitch tomorrow”. Samir El Mourabet, Morocco’s midfielder
