The Black Stars are competing at their fifth World Cup tournament, and are housed in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia
Ghana came agonisingly close to reaching the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup in 2010 before being denied by Uruguay in one of the most dramatic matches in the tournament’s history.
Since then, the Black Stars have not made it past the group stage of the competition in each of their last two appearances in 2014 and 2022.
The four-time African champions will be hoping to change that at the 2026 edition, where they face Panama, England and last tournament bronze medallists Croatia.
